KA1 Project 2023-2024:“Mental health and well-being for teachers and students: Designing the future in a positive way”
The grant application submitted by the 5th Model Gymnasium of Chalkida for the implementation of a short-term Key Action 1 project in the field of school education for 2023 has been approved by the National Agency/IKY. The project, “Mental health and well-being for teachers and students: Designing the future in a positive way”, involves the participation of 8 teachers of the 5th Model Gymnasium of Chalkida in the course "Design the positive: positive thinking, positive communication and positive school spaces" organized by the European mobility projects organization, MOVEU which will take place in 2023-2024 in Barcelona. The main objective is teacher training in innovative techniques that enhance positive thinking and their implementation in the educational process. Through the reinforcement of positive thinking, the acceptance of heterogeneity, and equal participation, the aim is to modify students’ negative thoughts and feelings and to promote inclusiveness and non-discrimination rendering school a democratic learning community.
